This time the up and down is the temperatures! Yesterday the high was 80 degrees and nice, now that's the kind of weather we like in January. Last evening though the wind picked up as a front moved through and the temps dropped down to 40 degrees.
The wind howled most of the night and the 5th wheel rocked back and forth with each gust. The wind causes some things to go "bump" in the night and several times I was awake trying to figure out "what's that noise?".
Today is supposed to be in the low 50's and they have issued a freeze warning for tonight with lows in the low 30's or upper 20's. Brrrr!
I was treated to a nice sunrise this morning.
The work continues on the back pad getting ready for the fracking crew to arrive. I have had a steady stream of people arriving this morning. We have heard the coil tubing crew will be back in as early as today and the fracking crew sometime this week end. I know we will be extremely busy during the fracking and frankly am ready to get it started so we can at least see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'll keep you posted!
